It was a rifle with a checkered stock and forearm with at least a 20 inch barrel. Nothing unusual here.

It was also a Norinco with a milled AK receiver. 7.62X39. It was not a RPK or NHM or SKS, but a regular rifle with an AK receiver. Trigger was unusually long and the sights were more of a tradional iron sights. Never heard of this style before.


Made me wonder if it was Kalifornia legal. Guy wanted $525 but I suspect he would have taken closer to $400-450.

    California leagal AK? That's news to me. Does it have a fixed magazine and it is able to be top loaded like the silly California legal AR[:D]? I would love to be there when you guys go in for the transfer paperwork at the local gun shop (that is if you guys are in California).

    I recon the rifle was either parted together or dude had few touches added.

    Made in China.
    Wood was similar type and finish to the MAK-90's.

    I think it was imported by Inter-something (interstate?) It was a vaguely familiar name to the pre-ban AK importers.

    Nope. Not a fixed Magazine. SO that screws that theory.
