  Who else was so important that time was measured by their birth and death as in BC and AD.

  Thunderbolt: Yep! and there is only a hundred years discrepency in the time of the birth and the death. One knows not when those occured not even the bible, there is a 50 year discrepency in the details of the birth by two different writers, and three different accounts of the age at death..

  Evidently the link in the first post is video, I can't get it on my dial up so if this was discussed there, forgive me.
  I just watched a news report on this case, in which a supposed expert was interviewed.
  He said that this tomb was discovered in 1980, and at the time archaeologists did not believe that it had anything to do with Jesus.
  He said that a British outfit did a documentary on this tomb in 1996, saying essentially the same thing they are saying today, about it being the tomb of Jesus. He said that this British documentary was widely discredited.
  This supposed expert says that Titanic director Jim Cameron is just blowing smoke by giving such pr to the story of this tomb.
