Has anyone here had any experience with the S&W chief special line of autos? Also where would I find a "plastic " holster for it? And what is the general opinion on them, I don"t see a lot of them being carried.

Ive been here a little more than a year. It took some time "to get to know the Mods" and their personalities. Seems to me the newest Mod has an itchy poofing finger, and seems alittle bit too gungho..Soooo, The question is: Have there been people assigned to the title of Moderator and subsequently had that title removed?

When do we finally say its a UN problem let them handle it. How much money does the USA give the UN so they can do something.

Want to tell me if this is not the UN's job, what their job is.

I am watching the hostage situation of the man who took a boy and is holding up in a bomb shelter. I notice that they have what seems like hundreds of cops and army on the scene.

Why??? The guy is holed up and is not gaining help. How many people does it take to guard one man in a hole? Don

A forearm across the throat doesn't really count as a punch, does it? I've been three years since I actually punched anybody, and I really don't think this should count.

    QUESTION:

There is a mute who wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action

of brushing one's teeth, he successfully expresses himself to the

shopkeeper and the purchase is done.

Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses,

how should he express himself? Think about it first before scrolling down for the answer.

    ANSWER:

He opens his mouth and says, "I would like to buy a pair of sunglasses."

If you got this wrong, please pack up your things, turn off your

computer and call it a day. Also, do not have children. [:D]

I've been retired sinc Oct of 2011
and while it's great I miss something.
I've finally discovered what it is.
I miss the banter and discussions we had at
work. You know, the talk about current events
    and such.
My wife and I talk, always have, but when you
talk with guys at work that you've built a bond with over
the past 30+ yrs, you can talk "filthy, if you will" and
I couldn't do that at home.
There are no boundarys except personal ones and I
    miss that,no matter what subject.
I certainly have plenty around here to do.
The barn needs fixing, (we just moved in last year)
most of the doors were installed by someone who didn't
have a level or cared to square them up.
Do you ever get over the need for conversation
    with the boys?

This mural is on the front of a local School. It was completed in 2006. Now some local Vets are complaining about the location of the flags in it. Also the Real Flag Flys nearby and it is in a hIgher position.

    So what do you think.

This is Springfield High in Springfield Oregon.

Flags are at half-mast across the country, in the wake of the theater shootings. Twelve are dead.

Fourteen are now dead because of that terrible truck accident in Texas. Are we going to have a month of flags at half-mast for that incident also?

Without looking it up , do you know the answer to this question?

On the great seal of America, there is the Eagle holding the bundle of arrows in one claw, and olive branches in the other.

    Question:
From whom did we get the Idea of the Arrows and what is it significance?
and who was responsible for the use of the arrow symbol?

Let's say your wifey checked the mail and your monthly bonus check was there. She sends you a text telling you it's there. You are at a redlight with only a second to reply before the light changes so you send a text back that says "$$??"

What kind of answer do you expect in return?

Is it legal to put a butler folding stock on an 870 police magnum? Are there any rules and regs dealing with that. Tell me anything that may apply.

Is there policy as to how long a seller can/should wait to ship after he has cash on hand. I was told two to three weeks before he will get a chance to ship.I just purchased a $740.00 item from him that I would like to get my hands on.

I know I sound impatient, but I spent an extra $25 (PayPal) to get him paid ASAP and he is in no hurry to ship.

No biggie, just want to know if this is the norm.[?]

    thanks
    Rick

I have made several requests to purchase specific firearms in the want section and I am confused as to why I get responses that are not even close to the request I made. I recently posted that I wanted a 300 H&H bolt action and have received 3 not quite close responses. One was asking if a 300 Savage model 99 would work, 1 telling me that a 25-06 was better and they had 2 for sale and the last trying to sell a 7mm Remington. Is this really that common and if so why, other than trying to sell their gun, would someone get so far from the request?
If I wanted a 25-06 or a 300 Savage or 7mm I would have requested these? I wonder if it is just that people don't know how to stay on subject. I know this is an invitation for sarcasm and ridicule but it is baffling to me. Thanks for your time and please stay on subject and keep the sarcasm to a minimum. This is a real question and I do not know if I am just not seeing the point of an off topic reply. 257
