This is a great mystery that has fascinated me since I was eight years old.
Will we ever know what became of the Lost Colony?
Could have been murdered by Indians, could have joined up with Indians, could have tried to sail back to England. Three years would have been a long time to wait for rescue.

For those of you who are sci-fi/fantasy book fans, the author George Keyes offers a view (of sorts).

Ya'll are welcome. The story has interested me from time to time. There are far more accounts of Indians kidnapping, raping, and or murdering American settlers than one would ever imagine. In reading about this story, and one about the Shawnee atrocities against the Moore family of Abs Valley, there are accounts of green eyed Indians and some Indians with light colored hair being as white as the next white person. I am of the belief that many of the folks in this story were killed, but others lived on in some Indian nations, as did a great many of the young folks who were captured during our first 300 years of history.
