Should be: "from the people who bring us Grain Belt." Grain Belt used to be independent but went bankrupt and were acquired by the August Schell Brewing Co.
But I'm splitting hairs. New Ulm makes a great many good beers. I'm particularly fond of their wheat beer for a hot summer day. Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near their distribution area.
So when are you going to do a Grain Belt giveaway so that some of the non-near-MN members can discover the joys of an August Schell product?0 -

LOL. Thanks HandgunHTR52, but that won't be necessary. I'll be back in MN for Christmas myself and WITHOUT DOUBT will be sampling their fine products. I was just giving catpealer111 a bit of a hard time....and suggesting the giveaway more for folks who've not had a chance to try their products than for myself.0 -
I remember as a kid walking under that Grain Belt sign and smelling that wonderful aroma coming out of that beer joint. I vowed to drink nothing but Grain Belt when I grew up, but alas, unable to find it where I now live. Falstaff has vanished too. 0 -
A few years ago Grain Belt was put back in production using the original recipe.
Grain Belt Premium is the only beer I drink and it is good beer. It is starting to get popular again.

Ah, Schell's. I used to live a 5 minute walk from the Schell's brewery. Used to go down there often to see the deer or buy beer cans for my collection. Always could smell the beer brewing while waiting for the school bus. 0 -
That bottle has a mismatched neck label.[:p]
Sorry... I guess I spend too much time looking a beer bottles.
And why do you keep an inferred temperature gun next to your beer? Afraid of warm beer if my guess.
Coors has that specially designed label to tell you your beer is cold...as if you can't figure that one out ut your sense of touch and taste.0
