I hate to break up the consensus of opinion, but I have personally seen a coin dealer put one perp DRT, another died 1 mile away on the traffic stop of the perps get away car with a little 22 mag derringer. The only perp to survive was the driver who did not get out of the car.

When nobody was around I told the coin dealer thanks. He actually handled it well for taking out 2 lowlives. Good job, well done to a calm "victim" that was facing two armed perps.

    .22 mag is a man-killer

For that matter, the .22lr is also a man-killer

P-32 that I didn't carry regularly. Then my hands got too sore to rack the slide and gave it to a pal. She is 40 years younger and a lot stronger! Now, no backup but bought a 9mm S&W e-z slide and love it.

In the summer, a Seecamp LWS 32 is my carry gun.

    A Glock doesn’t need a backup gun.

This GLOCK you speak of, is that a good reliable handgun?? Can I swim with it and shoot sharks underwater?? What if I drop it?? Do I have to worry about scratching it?? How often do I have to clean it??

Yes. Yes. Don't drop it. No. Never.

I had a friend that took a 380 round in the belly at very close range. He was on duty wearing his body armor that stopped the round but he had a black bruise about 6 inches across where he was shot.

Thanks to Kasey and her endless repertoire of items for sale, for the last several years, my little go everywhere friend is a Colt Mustang Pocketlight .380

I have carried a back-up Bond Arms two shot derringer in 357 Mag. It is a handful, and for me definitely short range. A gun to always hold sideways to guarantee a kill shot.

My CC license forbids a second carry gun. When I need a light weight pocket gun, it is a titanium smith in .38.
