    It's a real thick solid type plastic! I prefered the ones with the wood grip, but they were all on back order!

    And if things get hot, it makes the definition of a weapon legal to carry concealed.

    Nice, I was looking at one last weekend at a pawn shop, might see if it's still there and pick it up.

    In what state? Minnesota is a Handgun carry license, of course its not a concealed license though can carry either way. But it does have to be a handgun, last I checked.

    Everyone needs an ak :) Just added a folding stock to mine, side folder galil style and way overpaid for it I just found out yesterday but oh well I like it hope I like it when I shoot it but don't see why I wont.

    Matt can square you away with a U.S. made wooden handguard set for your Yugo.

    i had a M70ab2 last year,..sold it to fund a car purchase,.. but it was nice to have for a while,.. i have its little brother,. a M-92 in a box waiting on the SBR paperwork to build it.

    dont be suprised if you end up with more AK's,. i started with a lone 7.62x39 rifle,. then i figured out they come in a ton of diffrent calibers,..now i have more that i know what to do with.

    Bout time you joined the AK club. OBTW Don't let Nancy Pelosi see that. Her hemroids will hurt her all day because of the bu++-pucker the sight of such an evil gun will cause her.

    redice, I don't want to say "many states", but I'm under the impression some wording for concealed refers to weapons concealed, not specifically handguns [under 16" barrel].

    In PA, the permit is a CCW; no restriction seems to be specified, except that the license is:
    "A license to carry a firearm shall be for the purpose of carrying a firearm
    concealed on or about one's person"

    I've understood this to be comparable to many other states;
    if it can be concealed, it is just that: a concealed weapon.

    I sudder to imagine it, but there might be a time when it is advisable to carry a Mini-14 on a long walk or drive to the grocery store.

    Sure, a 1911 might be enough, but if fifteen people are bent on attacking a couple out for a peaceful journey to fetch food supplies, I'd choose the carbine over the handgun.

    As with most people, I don't think conditions would ever get that bad; furthermore, in such a scenario, chances are good that government would find a law to prohibit movement of armed citizens, no matter how reasonable their reasons appear to be. But for now, it is legal.

    Where PAbogger lives, I have the feeling the citizens still rule the county, as opposed to laws enacted by outsiders ruling their lives.
