Brownells Easy Bake Project Star 9mm
Here is a Star 9mm I took down to bare metal and applied a little Brownells oven cure to. The trigger had to be redone so its in the oven with the slide (its black) baking right now.(I had a little run and messed up the edge of the trigger as you can see in the photo). After baking though this stuff is tuff..

Man that looks good. Did you say it is tuff and will last? what about cost and time involved? 0 -
It takes a little time, you have to strip the firearm, blast it is recommended (I used 3 grades of abrasive brush wheels on a dremmel) completely degrease it, hang it by wires and lightly spray three or four coats using a hair dryer to set each time, careful no runs! (should have listened to this part better myself that is how I got the oppourtunity to redo trigger.) Make sure fully covered, then no touching, hang in oven and bake @350 for 30 minutes, like Racheal Ray eh! Anyway then cool and your done. 0 -
Dude that is killer! I didn't know they had such a thing. 0 -
Does it come in the two colors you have shown? Does it come in any other colors? What about cost? 0 -
I didn't know Star had compact 1911-type 9mm semi-autos.
Guess I'm [still] out of the loop.0
