Talk about being taxed. Iowa's crappy liberal govenor fought for and raised the cigarette tax buy a $1 a pack earlier this year. Yesterday, I went to the local store for smokes. Ended up with a carton of cheap every where else, but cost me $40 here. [:(!] We usually buy smokes in Missouri, and I'll guarantee that I'll never buy another pack of Iowa smokes. I can get almost 2 cartons for that price in MO., and they'll be name brand! 0 -

It's not just Chicago. Our republican governor just signed in a new tax on cigarettes and an additional fee to register your motorcycle to pay for spinal cord injury research. Our county has a wheel tax, bridge tax, income tax, ect and our property tax keeps going up. With all the good paying job's going oversea's who do they think will continue to pay for all this crap? Something's gotta give. 0 -
