That wasn't made by Colt. It was made in Germany under LICENSE from Colt as indicated on the slide.

Ok, I knew someone was gonna point that out. I almost edited the thread but then didn't.
My point was I didn't know such 1911-A1 pellet guns existed.

Germans make a lot of different pellet-gun versions of real guns.
They also take original guns and deactivate them, only to shoot blanks.
They also make copies of real guns, for the purpose of shooting blanks - the blankshooting guns are part of the law there, for self-defence or attencion-getter.
The cartridges are usually just gunpowder that gives a loud noise to attract attencion - or gunpowder/CS-crystals as noise/deterrent or gunpowder/pepper also as noise/deterrent.
It doesn't look like it's the original case though.
I usually see a better-looking job in that area.0 -
Nice little basement gun. I bought one new when they first came out. They are guaranteed to shoot 1" groups at 30 ft. That looks like origional case also. 0 -

There's an Airsoft copy of just about all important handgun designs.
I find sites of them when surfing, all European.0
