Tell me something about your Moisin Nagant
I found one for $99 in a shop. A Yugo M-44 I believe.
Decent wood, but they were out of ammo.
I hear they kick pretty good.
Ammo seems to be cheap but getting hard to find.
Plus - Minus?
Accuracy?
Stock upgrades available?
Your thoughts?

Yep, sold mine. I bought it and never shot it. Had it at least 2 years. Got tired of moving it around. 0 -
I would, but I don't have one. 0 -
just picked up a 91/30 today for $100 out the door , looks like its never been shoot , bore is clean and shinny as all get out , wood is nice and gun has matching numbers ,
Zulu7 are you going to be in the laCrosse area any time soon , the dealer i got this one from has several more , also some 44's
100 bucks each your choice , if you are and want one, email me thru the site and i'll get you his number0 -
Recoil is NOTHING more than a .308....
I shoot 100's of rounds in a day through mine. If you know how to hold a rifle it is not a big deal.
Ammo is dirt cheap for now and the rifles are very accurate too.!

Hey zulu, maybe you and hawk can go shootsting together.[:D]0 -
I used to fret about the recoil, too. My first MN was a sporterized M44 for $50. It kicked like heck and the bullets were tumbling at 30 yards!
The pictured rifle has an excellent bore and with the modifications it doesn't kick any worse than a 410 shotgun.

A standard M44 off a bench will kick you like a mule, the equivalent of a heavy 3" 12ga load on a bench.
Huge muzzleblast and flame.
It's definitely one of the coolest things ever. Sounds like a cannon.
One word: Hearing protection
I know, that was two words.0
