My 16 year old neece went and got her learner permit today,,and then she had to say those words. March 15 I get my license...

Where had the time gone, But I have told those girls since they were little that when they do start driving or going out with friends there will be a time when alcohol is involved and if u are someone u are with is to drunk to drive,,call me I will come no matter what time no questions asked..I would much rather go and get them then to have to plan a funeral.

I also told their mom that they have the ok to call me cause sometime kids feel better calling someone other then mom and dad.
Gabby had a friend killed a few months ago due to drinking and driving and I think it was a wake up call for her,we talked alot about it and how dangerous it is and that u may not get hurt but u could kill an innocent person or family..

Very good words of advice. I have stated the same to my family members, nephews, nieces, and my own son and daughters. And yes there was times when I got called. And no there was no questions asked, that night any way.
