    IMHO deadly force should be allowed when someone starts intentionally ramming other cars on the highway.

    There's no real difference between someone doing this or walking down a sidewalk shooting at people.

    Not just some drunk.

    This was an escapee. He had broke in a house, tied up and robbed two women at gunpoint, then stole their vehicle.

    It never ceases to amaze me that vehicles are able to maintain speed and reasonable manuvearability when the tires have been run right off. Got to give a lot of credit to the LEOs, don't know how they kept from pounding this guy into the pavement. Though having 4 or 5 guys sitting on your back probably made breathing a bit difficult for a while cause they didn't seem to treat him with "kit" gloves.

    Those aren't retreads. That's what eventually happens if you run high speed on flat tires.

    Notice the cop on foot scurrying to the right side of the road near the beginning of the video? That black wad you see moving on the ground near him is a set of Stop-Stick spikes he's just pulled out of the pursuing cop's way. He'd just nailed both front tires on the SUV.

    Yes I agree excellent job on the part of the officers restraint in not pounding this guy in to the pavement. Who could blame them if they did. I wounder how many of the other motorists would have loved to get a peice of that guy.
