Tori is applying for a new job tomorrow
Bills have made things a little tight around here lately. Tori has been at her job for 4.5 years now, she makes $8k a year and brings home nothing during the summer.
I've talked to her a few times about trying to get her to find a new job. She's appyling for this tomorrow....
And it's a government job as well.
Evidence Management Assistant
The City of Lafayette LPD is seeking an Evidence Management Assistant DUTIES: Receives, logs, and stores seized property & evidence. Performs data entry of seized articles, drugs, & firearms on the Records Management System (RMS) & tracks warehoused evidence. Reviews court documents to determine status of seized property & evidence. Conducts criminal records checks using IDACS and NCIC. Determines legality of persons to whom firearms may be released. Provides information to external law enforcement agencies. Prepares correspondence types reports, receives and files documents. Maintains chain-of-custody tracking for drugs, firearms, and other property & evidence. May be required to testify in court.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's License with a demonstrated safe driving record. Must pass a polygraph exam. Must submit to a background investigation with no previous felony convictions. Must have basic computer skills. Must handle biohazard material. Must handle potentially hazardous weapons SALARY: $23,231.00 annually.
