Film dipping firearms..just finished project X
This is a model 870 wingmaster magnum that I put together,my FFL dealer is a good friend of mine and also runs/sells archery equipment, one of the processes of adding camo to bow limbs, cams, quivers etc..is a process called film dipping,a very durable finish and weather resistant,I just got this put back together this morning, the flashlight is a old mini-mag I had laying around and added the pressure switch to it.and of course the shell holder..my new home defense gun..12ga.this is the second one I have done the first/experimental gun was a 870 12ga express that I purchased off of Mr. Nunn.but my nephew couldn't live with out it and I never took pics....Loko..[hows she look?] [8D][:D]

there's more equipment involved than you would want to purchase for one gun or project..but if you wanted to start doing knives,guns.bows..pickup fenders..lol..you could probably get your money back quick..thanks for the comments though everyone..I like it..and I have done the 26" barrel and an extra butt stock too for turkey season..[;)][:D]..Loko0 -

not sure Marc, really we are just getting in to it and have only used bow parts before, this is the third firearm we have tried this on..now thats just us so I'm sure someone has tried this before we did, I'm going to guess finished product which requires complete disassembly of the gun involved, masking off any piece not wanted dipped etc..somewhere around 200.00-250.00 thats just a wild guess, nothing firm..next after the bushmaster and scope/rings/base..we are going to try my 586 S&W revolver.357mag..hopefully we will have the same luck..which has been no mistakes..other than two or three tiny air bubbles which the basecoat/primer/in tan/desert sand color helps hide very well, after the degreasing job we try not to handle or touch any part w/out rubber gloves on..before dipping...Loko [:D]btw..no orientals today..except......[:p]
