A relaxing Friday
The first Friday after the first payday of the month is "payday activities" day. A lot of people are gone on a married couples retreat with the Chaplain or are at the Warrior Leader's Course for promotable E-4's and recently promoted E-5's. Payday Activities usually involves a Company-level run followed by a Class A inspection followed by an early release. Because a lot of people are missing and I wasn't slotted for the make-up pistol range today, I got the rest of the day off after our morning 4-mile run. Woo Hoo! I'm in "clearing status" getting ready to move so I'm no longer in a Squad Leader position. I'm only responsible for myself at least until I get to Missouri in March.
