Boy I'm sore today.

I still haven't heard the snow totals, but looks like a foot or more.

30-40mph winds have helped add 4-5' drifts in some areas.

Dug the wife's car out and stuck it in the garage. Backed the truck up in the yard and started clearing the road. I glanced at my neighbor working on his place. His snowblower was smoking and making all kinds of racket. Burn the belt off. He went off and got a new belt. This guy has no mechanical aptitude what-so-ever. Tried doing it with a leatherman and a hammer. Tried to take a 9/16" nut off with said leatherman. So I replaced the belt for him, and what does he do? Buries it in a 5' drift with wet snow and burns it off again.

I finished his spot with mine, put it away and got out the good ol shovel for the wet stuff.

I'm feeling it today.

    Yep, in Lafayette. What age are the girls? I may know them.

    I find it's easier to park in the garage before the snow comes.
    We got about 10 inches up here.

    I know, I was lazy and never cleared the spot.

    It's a two car, but the truck just flat doesn't fit, so her's is in right now.

    Reports say we got the most in the state. I would estimate 12-14" in those few hours.
