I Missed a Thompson
Got to the Pensacola gunshow on Sunday, camera in hand, to see Fred Thompson. He stopped by Friday night at dealer setup and that was his only appearance there. Dagnabit! He did have a table giving away bumper stickers and the like though, so my rear bumper now sports one.
The gunshow was okay, I picked up about 15 pounds of various brass for two bucks! That's about $22 if I take it to the scrap metal dealer.
I also found a neat Boker switchblade. It's new and called Automat Kalasnnikov 74. Serial numbered and in a box that looks like an AK mag. $40. Marked Taiwan, but supposed to be only assembled there with all German-made parts except the handles. Same supersharp Boker blade we have all come to know and love, available in serrated or non-serrated blade.
Check them out as this one will be my new carry knife. [:D]
