Some race gun ideas.

    a little bump for the pretty lady.

    Being that a race is going to be a custom gun, the cost will be accordingly. I don't know anyone that does them. You can check carbine AR15 prices on the auction side buy searching completed auctions. They will be cheaper then a race gun, probably in the range of ~1000. You also don't need to get a colt to get a good AR15, there are several manufactures out there that make good products.

    get a Rock River 9mm carbine, and the Caspian .45 I will list soon

    Not usre on the 9mm AR's...you may be better off getting a complete AR lower from DPMS, and finding a 9mm upper.

    As far as the pistol goes, if you're not just looking at the 1911-style, take a look at a EAA Witness Competition (or maybe it's called the Limited). A friend has one in 9mm; it's got to be one of the nicest out-of-the box raceguns I've ever seen for under a grand.

    I've always been a CZ fan, now they have a few different pistols out that are real nice.

    This is a pistol ready for IPSC standard division (USPSA limited division) competition, out of the box.
