Yup....
Run out and grab...
a rubber stopper like the ones you see in labs for flasks and such(They are usually tapered so they fit many different bbls)
1/8" or 3/16" steel rod in about 4' lenght(4' is about the smallest length you'll find, just cut it down if need be, make sure it is not stainless, can be found at Lowes or any home improvement store)
one of those large 9v batteries(the ones with springs on top)
Medium-light gauge wire - about 12-15'
2 alligator clips
vinegar and ammonia
I also found these small rubber bushings that fit around the rod to keep it from contacting(shorting to) the barrel.
All in all it cost me like $12-15.
Drill a hole in the stopper just smaller than the diameter of the rod (sort of like what you normally would do when predrilling wood for a screw, don't drill all the way through.
Insert the rod in the stopper and slide your barrel over the rod, the stopper should fit tightly in the muzzle.
Put together a mixture of 2 parts white vinegar to one part household ammonia and 1 part tap water. You'll only need like a cup total.
Fill the barrel with the solution, slide the bushing(rubber washer) down to keep the rod from touching the barrel and shorting
Take a length of wire, attach to one pole of the battery and clip on the rod
Take the other length and attach to the opposite pole of the battery and clip the other end to a "ground" on the barrel. I have a CVA Optima break action and attach the clip to the lug that locks into the reciever.
Let it sit for as long as you like. You'll instantly see the solution start to foam. I built a little stand in a 5 gallon bucket to set the barrel in and the bucket catches the foam. The foam will start to turn brown as it's cleaning and the residue is pulled off the barrel.

this is similar product made buy outers i bought it at a going out of buisness sale. I think reg. 75 buck's, I got it for 25, was out of it's origonal package. came with 16, orings (4 of each size,) 4 rubber breech plugs.
the rod is the same for all, the o rings get bigger as the cal does. the rubber stoppers fit up into the breech of the rifle or MZ loader. they also get bigger as the cal does.
the de-structions say to evenly space the orings on the rod, place a proply sized breech plug in the rifle add the solution that came with, or in you case the ammonia,vinigar,h20 solution, insert the rod slide the rod through the controler ground and plug it in. little lite on the controler goes from red "cleaning" to Green "clean"
what cubs has built is the same thing just replace the controller with a 6 volt battery (the one with the springs on the top) and some alligator clips, and BOOM your in buisness.

+1. Send some to me, too. Dad's .54 has only been fired a couple of times in the last 27 years, and it needs a good cleaning. It also needs to be reblued...

Jake, you don't need to plug the whole. The rod needs to go all the way though unless you buy one of those all in one kits.
