Do you think this would work on the terroist

I think a /or the General McCarther in the late 1800's quelled Muslin uprisings in in of that part world buy using pigs and pig blood to quell all uprisings. There is a very long report about what happen but I do not know where to find it.

In a few words or a long story short if you would pass this long. Beware to our ememies if you you use IUD'S and are caught and if you ambushes us you will be shot will bullets dip in swine blood and dumped in
mass grave with swine intrals.

Now if congess will not send the 21,000 need additional troups then let us drop 42,000 swine dead or alive in the trouble areas. You mess with the bull you are going to get the horn.

    The story (which has been posted here at least ten times) goes that John J. "Blackjack" Pershing made such a threat agaisnt Phillipino insurgents at the turn of the century and that there was no trouble in the PI for another 50 years. The amazing thing about this is that the PI were occupied by the Japanese for a large part of WWII and since there were (according to the tale) no attacks during that period it would seem that the Japanese occupation forces must have kept Pershing's policy in force. Of course if this type of thing would really work it would have been used by both sides during any/all of the Arab-Israeli conflicts

    There are too many false "facts" in that info.
    1. the Philippines did not become a US posession until the Spanish-American war, in the early 1900s not late 1800s.
    2. IIRC MacArthur was a Lt. in that conflict. Seem to recall reading something in his biography about him comandeering a locomotive.


    A bigger problem is that the idea may not work. I'd love it is pig guts would deter terrorists, but facts may be more difficult. In the mind of a radical muslim, martyrdom is a guaranteed way of going to heaven, pig guts or no pig guts.

    The Spanish American War was in 1898 and only lasted a few months.

    crap that's the Russo-Japanese war [:o)]


    minor correction about MacArthur, he was admitted to West Point in 1898, so he could not have fought in the Spanish American war

    I think that train incident you referred to may have been one that took place when he was helping chase Pancho Villa just before the first World War.[:)]

    possibly, I read the biography when I was 13, exactly a decade ago.
    Need to read it again, can't find time to read anything but gunbroker and textbooks [:(]

    I agree. Let bomb them with pigs instead of bombs. Cheaper and probably more effective.

    I see absolutely no reason to condemn perfectly respectable pigs to an eternity of Hell with any Muslim. Lets leave the pigs out of it and just kill the muslims where they stand.[:(!]
