Some states allow you to freeze your credit, others dont (It apparently does not belong to you)
anyone can put a temp. fraud alert (i try to evry 90 days)
get a police report (since there was fraud) and you can put a Permanant fraud alert on you file, and anyone is suppposed to call and verify (with the number that you put on file ) that credit should be extended to that vendor

Here is the site you need!
That is for the purpose, of not receiving more offers, or cards. To cancel the existing, you will have to call each customer service number on the back of the card, or put a fraud warning, on each card.

I would advise she check here to look for other problems.
    https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp

She is entitled to three FREE credit reports each year, one from each main reporting agency. Space them out over four month periods to cover the whole year.
