Has anyone here ever seen this movie? As a kid I watched this movie regularly. I watched it last night and was thinking that an invasion from the south by Mexicans, and Venezuela, and whatever other countries would join, along with the already huge population of illegal aliens already here, they could probably put up a good fight. If our guns were banned, they could for sure. This is purely theoretical, but have any of you thought about this? Very few Americans are gunslingers like us. 0 -
How does the remake stack up against the originall ? The wife and I buy movie instead of renting and need to know if it is worth it 0 -

great movie. when it came out i was like 12 years old and immediately started preparing for a soviet invasion. I organized about 5 of my friends into an "army" and we had 6 rifles and plenty of ammo. we had battle plans and bunkers and we were prepared for war. the invasion never came. but now there is a mosque down the street and a broken border 2 hours away. who is the real enemy now ? 0 -

A Mexican Cinco De Mayo Invasion movie would be an interesting movie. The Mexican, Latino, legal/illegal audience would be cheering for the one side versus the Anglo-Americans.
But where would the other American minorities fall? Yes, I am talking about the blacks, colored, and African Americans. Would they save the day for the Anglo-Americans or side with the inserection? Maybe funding from the French Jewish bankers would swing the war.
I think this movie would have something to offend everyone.0 -

Ouch , that's one of those times I have to question my Cable boycott. But if you had to let illegal aliens into your house to install the Cable like Time Warner used at mine, you might boycot cable too.

The original trailer shows a tank rolling up to a McDonald's restaurant where enemy soldiers are eating. This scene does not appear in the final cut. It was apparently removed due to a mass murder at a San Ysidro, California, McDonald's just weeks prior to the film's 1984 opening.
