It all came back to me
This evening, my wife and I were going through a few cartons of photos, cards and other memorabilia from our years back in NYC and in the middle of everything was an issue of TIME Magazine dated September 11, 2001 with the cover photograph documenting the very moment of impact when the second plane smashed into the second tower.
The feature article was entitled "Day of Infamy".
The rear cover photograph showed a side view Statue of Liberty in the foreground and the skyline of Manhattan - all but obscured by the most hideously black cloud - directly behind her.
The entire magazine was completely ad-free. Only the shocking, eerie, horrific pictures and commentary.
It all came back to me almost immediately.
No matter what your politics or opinions or theories, I beg each of you to never ever forget what happened to all of us that day. America was forever changed.
God bless our troops. God bless America.

I can't believe how much of the country ignores that thought.
It makes me sick to my stomach, to see daily, how the kooks have warped the event...
...and that parts of our own government have caused us to lose faith in the cause.

There's not a day goes by I don't remember it.
Every one of our legislators ought to have that photo on their desk facing them, because for damn sure it seems most of them HAVE forgotten. A tandem picture of Battleship Row on December 7, 1941 belongs with it so they could, perhaps, comprehend the context. [:(!][:(!][:(!]0 -

Oddly enough they will with out any help from us.... What we need is for them to burn (alive) here on earth... Even with $3.00 gas it should only cost about $15.00 to send one to Hell pre-cooked.....0 -
