North Korea deal?

If, big IF the North Koreans live up to their end of the deal this could be a big breakthrough that could extend far beyond Korea.
This could put a lot more pressure on Iran & that in turn could extend to matters beyond the nuclear issues.
After seeing only gloom & doom for so long this tiny ray of hope could mean that George the Lesser may just go out not looking quite so bad.
Of course that all depends on the only fat man in North Korea keeping his word & what are the chances of that?

  Bolton has been on every talk show saying this deal is terrible and I believe him. This deal is basicall exactly what Clinton did. Bush has proved himself to be a complete hyporcrite and not willing to fight a real fight over WMD. I would like to send my congralulations to North Korea for holding out long enough and defeating the will of the American officials. I also welcome them to the nuclear club and maybe they enjoy many long years of blackmail and intimidation to acheive their goals.

  One of the major international frauds of the past 50 years. China managed to keep the two Koreas, and Japan to some extent,purposely tied up so they can't unify and be greater competition in the international trade game.
  Everyone falls for it. North Korea was the biggest sucker and loser.
  It's certainly not in China's interest for North and South Korea to beat their swords into plowshares.

  They've made deals like this before...and broken them when they decided they wanted more than they were getting. People around here have been flaming Clinton for years for the deal he made with them, I wonder if they will do the same now for Bush? Once North Korea decides it wants more oil or more electricity than we are providing to them under the deal, they'll start that reactor up again and rattle the saber for a few years until we cave in (again) and give them what they want, which is always MORE of everything.
  
  It's nothing more than nuclear extortion, and it encourages other nations to start nuclear programs (even nations that know they don't have the resources and expertise) simply to extract large concessions in terms of money and aid from the United States. These countries don't even have to be serious, all they have to do is have a half-assed token nuclear program and we'll give them tons of oil and energy just to stop.
