    That's a classic but, I think they have to be "pistol calibers".

    It has to be a pistol cartridge in order to be legal in Indiana, and this is the first year for that provision. That's why there aren't many around as the season arrives.

    I bought three new Marlins back in the spring, but haven't seen one recently.

    Screwy rules, .35 Remington is OK in a "handgun" but not in a rifle.

    This is the first year for centerfire rifles.

    I keep hearing rumors that this new law will lead to the opening up of some rifle calibers like the 30/30. Not sure if I buy into it but it did go from .410 to handgun cartridges pretty quick. I think they should leave it as is.
