Ever try a pontoon "kick boat" on the river?
Lightweight, easy to steer (with fins or oars), plenty of room for all your "stuff" and really quiet on the water. Today was the first time out with my new toy. I can't wait for tomorrow morning. [^]

This is a stock image from the dealer, but mine looks the same (except for the seat). I'll post some of my images from today's float shortly. [8D]

I've always wanted to try one. How do you haul it? 0 -

Fortunately, I can carry it assembled and inflated in my truck. However, it can be carried deflated and unassembled in most standard vehicles. Then you just inflate and assemble at the entry point. Sure beats a hard bottom boat, or canoe in most applications. [^]

I used to have a 15' Zodiac boat. It folded up into a package that fit in the back of the truck with a 55hp Johnson OB. We used to take it to Baja Mexico camping/diving. I also have a compressor for scuba tanks.
Use a 80 cubic foot to blow it up, refill the tank from the compressor, launch thru the surf and motor out to Sacramento Reef.
Catch 10 lb lobsters, spear white seabass and chow down on the beach at night.
Ahh the good old days.0 -
There are a couple of Creeks I fish that would be perfect for that... 0 -
Been wanting one of those for a while now. Looks fun. 0
