Very Productive day(with pictures)
Well, I finally recieved some of the money that was owed to me by a lady who ran into and totalled my parked car back in January. Seeing I already have the new vehicle paid off and a little money put away, I decided to go pay-off the rest of my Remington 700 SPS Varmint and picked it up today[:D]. I have a scope to put on it, just have to pick up a mount and some rings. Also, found a good deal on some ammo(.22-250) and a set of see-thru rings for my Marlin 45-70. Always wanted to try them and at a $10 sale price I figured I couldn't go wrong. Mounted the 4x Burris on tonight and will hopefully get that one out to the range sometime tomorrow. Here are some pics.

Nice rifle. How'd you make it transform into a Marlin?
BTW the 700 would be even nicer if it was a .308.0 -
I know, I was originally planning on going with the .308, but opted for the .22-250 for a few reasons.

In my experience the see throughs suck. They are just to high to get a consistent view through the scope. 0 -

When I get home I'll snap a picture of my favorite .308 and see if it strikes you. All the cops around here come get it when they go to counter sniper school.0
