    You know, I hear'd that all my life, too. Last year I bought my first .308. The one in the above pictures. It shot so well and with no recoil that I found and purchased a Remington 7400 with a Sightron at an unbeleivably low price, for the wife to hunt with. It don't hold a candle to my .300's but it's fun to shoot and accurate as hell.

    Cartod, Very close. Remington 700 varmint. I bought it second hand and called Remington that day. Manufactured in '99. 2 pound trigger that breaks like glass. HS Precision stock. Springfield 762 Government Issue 4 - 14 x 56 scope.
