    One of my roomates has a p22, they're nice little pistols, easily concealed. The grip is a little small though, so you might want to attach the grip extension that comes with the gun.

    Zulu,they are fun,and at least cheap to shoot,cci mini mags is the ammo of choice for mine,i have put 500+rds thru it no problems,i purchased a LAS veridian laser for mine green beam and you can sure see it better in the day light than red,Loko[:D]

    I had one couple years ago ,after about 500 rounds thru it I started having problems with the safety not staying on, took it back to the shop and they said the screw was just loose , well i took it back and put about 2 boxes thru it and it started doing the same thing again so this time i checked the screw myself and it was tight , so back to the store it went , this time the in-store gunsmith, took a drill and made the detent holes just a little deeper , after that it worked fine for another 200rounds or so and them started doing the same thing again , so it when back and got traded off ,

    thats the only one i've ever had so maybe it was just a bad one but i don't plan on buying another one

    Mine has been pretty much fun. It is more accurate than expected. Has had a few feed problems with cheap ammo...none with mini mags. One nagging problem is the roll pin near the "S" on the safety keeps popping out and prevents the use of the safety...but that's a faulty pin.

    Do not buy the longer barrel. You get no greater accuracy and the POS slide extension is a POS. Did I mention the extension is a PITA.

    Very nice gun to teach kids how to shoot IMHO.

    Go for it, I personally want the P99, does anyone have any thoughts on that one?

    I have some bad feelings about the P99. Single action pistol with no safeties? I'll stay away.

    I am not that crazy about that pistol. Find it a pain to take down, springs flying around the room. Would not be my choice. I would opt for the Ruger 22 bull barrels over those anyday. Just my humble opinion.

    I think the Rugers will out shoot them all day long on the range and in the woods. They are light and look cool and thats about all they have going for them. Again just my opinion.

    My wife has one and she loves it, but it is too small for larger hands. The mag release is part of the trigger guard next to the grip, and can be actuated by the meat of the trigger finger if you are not careful. When I shoot it, I end up using just my finger tip inside the guard.
