Absolutely no, and I am NOT 23, nor do I have all the answers. My 19-year-old son, who is in Iraq, in one of the most hazardous jobs there, also votes "NO."
I have already stated that I think we should make Iraq a territory and install a territorial governor. The grunt on the ground sees the progress that he is helping to make, and wants to continue. He wants to come home, for sure, but he doesn't want to cut and run and leave the job half done.

I would like to see the troops withdrawn after Iraq has turned the corner on radical religion, has a stable government that represents the majority of the citizens, and those citizens can live their lives without fear of radicals driving a carload of explosives into them.
I would also like to see a system of new reporting that wasn't so focused on finding news to support their pre=existing viewpoint and the sensational. I'd like to see information that I hear from returning vets regarding the several public projects that are being completed, that otherwise would not be even on a drawing board.
There is a reason that Special Forces are referred to as Peace Corps with Guns. This war, as all others, is in the hearts and minds of the civilian population as much as the military units.0 -

There are no absolutes in life. And there are definitely none in international politics. Everything is shades of gray and there is never an answer that's 100% right.
The situation is incredibly complex and requires a complex answer that none of us are able to individually provide.
