Ok, before all of yall flame me on one of my up-coming purchases, listen to my reasoning for getting it.

I'm in the process of buying 2 guns right now.

#1 is a Glock 23, .40 S&W with Glock TacLight. Why am I buying a Glock-rock? Because I'm going to school to be a police officer, and I want to be as familiar as possible with the kind of firearm I'll most likely be carrying every day and occasionally having to trust my life to before I'm in that situation.

#2 is a National Ordinance M1903A3 rifle with a bayonet. Nothing flashy, I just have wanted one for longer than I've been old enough to buy guns, and I found one with the right price that was exactly what I was looking for.

I'll take pics when I pay them off and bring them home. The '03A3 should be home by the end of the week.

Cool...Not a big Glock fan but it is a good choice for that line of work... I cringe when I see a newbie with one!!!
    I love the 03A3

Honestly I'm not a big fan of Glock either. Police agencies sure are though.

The 03A3 I'm getting is in 95% or better condition. It's a great rifle. It still has the front sight shroud, and it even has the original cleaning kit in the stock.

I am a full fledged Glock-a-maniac. I love everything about them. Good choice. You could have gotten something that has a lot more bells and whistles and weighs a lot more, but you didn't. Once you master the trigger rfeset of the GLOCK you will be able to shoot rings around anything else. Congrats!
