The main bulb in my LCD HDTV blew and I had to order another one. It won't be here 'til Tuesday. I want my big tv.

  That sucks.
  
  If you don't mind me asking, how much was it?
  
  We have an LCD and the guy at the store was trying to sell us an extended warranty for $500, said that the bulb will go in 3-5yrs and will be $300 for the buld and 2-300 for labor. I didn't buy it, and when I got home and read the manual, it shows you how to replace it. 5minutes.
  
  I think I found replacement bulbs at one point in time for something like $100. That was 2 years ago. I'm just wondering what they run now.

  we had one changed at the shop, its was like 150 bucks or something, the TV is a Panasonic 50 inch.

  Thewhole unit on ebay runs from $175 to $250. I bought just the bulb and I'll re-use the module. $135.00 w/shipping.
