Anybody missing digits?
Anybody else here besides me have a finger or toe missing? Table saw took pretty near all of my pinky on my left hand when I was young. Dont miss it much no more. Who else?

If I flip someone off with my left hand, sadly the meaning comes up a "little short".[;)][:D]
Lost the very end of my middle finger (to the first knuckle), to a lawn mower about 10yrs. ago. Lost the end of my ring finger at the same time but they sewed it back on.
Nope, don't miss either nowdays. Except they are both real sensitive to the cold. i guess poor circulation??

...???? Sawed off a LOUSY "pinkie"??? I had worse than that on my eyeball.
...Had my head chopped off once when I was run over by a train, but they re-attached it; pert near a year of PT before I felt good after that!...won't find me pickin' up flat pennies along the railroad tracks any more...[;)]

I've had all sorts of various size and types holes put into my body - both voluntarily and involuntarily - but never lost an appendage.

No, fortunately I still have them all. I worked on an offshore drilling rig as a roustabout between my sophomore and junior years of college and could have made a lot more money working on the drilling platform. However, I quickly noted that everyone working up there had missing fingers.[:0] I couldn't justify the tradeoff.[:D] 0 -
Surprisingly I still have all of em. I worked at a punch press shop in
IL. where fingers (usually 2 or all) were often lost. Plus the various
other machine operations I've done..it's a wonder.0 -

Lost one toe on my right foot. Mangled the whole foot and the MD said that one toe was dead and would fall off. Turned black but stayed on so he cut it off with a pair of wire cutters. Said it was dead so it wouldn't hurt.

I screamed bloody murder. Apparently it wasn't quite as dead as he thought. Jesus, that hurt. It was 37 years ago and I still recall the pain quite vividly.0 -

Takes longer than ten years. After ten years I still couldn't wear a ring on my finger & the cold was real bad. It's been over fourty years now & the good news is that I no longer have any problems with the finger. I can't remember when it stopped causing me problems so I can't tell you how long it may take.0 -

Takes longer than ten years. After ten years I still couldn't wear a ring on my finger & the cold was real bad. It's been over fourty years now & the good news is that I no longer have any problems with the finger. I can't remember when it stopped causing me problems so I can't tell you how long it may take.
I have no problem wearing a ring, but the cold is a different story. Thank goodness I live in Louisiana.[:D]

None missing, but I only have limited movement of my left ankle and my right elbow.
Both were shattered and surgecly repaired about 3 1/2 years ago when I was hit by a car.
At the same time my right hip was shattered and my pelvic bone was broke in 3 places.
Doctors said between the 4 of them I got darn near 5lbs of metal holding them together.0 -
Belts got the ends 3 of my fingers on my left hand. One survived the doctor, 2 didn't. A little akward trying to hold and fire a pistol left handed but I can do it. Was pretty much ambedextrious before that happened but now right handed.
Cold still bothers 1 of them a lot, the others are good. Doesn't slow me down much, some folks have known me for years before they notice anything different. Hardest thing was tying and untying knots, working buttons was a challenge too. Too a while to be able to tie my shoes without help.
Was kind of a shock to look down at your hand and see the bones with no meat on them. Hurt for just a split second when it happened. Hurt a lot when they went to clean it up and work on things.0 -

I almost forgot to say I almost lost another digit but only busted a nut. 0 -
My brother got a testicle amputated. He was playing third base in a softball game and caught a hot ground ball right in the nuts.
Brother played football at University of Georgia, but never was much of a baseball player.
One testicle swelled up to the size of a grapefruit and they had to amputate it.
Nevertheless, a decade later he had two children.

I still have them but none of the toes on my left foot move,they were all crushed many years ago on a drilling rig and the bones all set back solid.hurt like hell in cold weather sometimes 0 -
I'm a Millwright by trade and when I first started I noted that most of the old guys were missing pieces. I became VERY CAREFUL where I put my fingers. I've come REAL close 3 times to losing fingers but still have everything. I have had 9 concussions though, what the heck though, you only use 10% of your brain anyway.[:D]Dave 0
