Why is it that when we cannot eat we are the hungriest????????????
I have a major medical exam this morning and cannot eat due to lab tests that will be done. Normally I am not even hungry untill about 9am.
But since I know I cannot eat right now I am starveing!
As soon as my appt. is done I am heading straight to the truck stop for a huge country fried steak and eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that people are so over-protective of their stupid friggin dogs?
Don't get me wrong, I like dogs, well mannered and behaved dogs.
A couple of nights ago, I got a "vicious dog" call. Arrived at the location, found the vehicle in question and the dog. The dog was a large one (approx. 85 lbs.) and was tied in the back of a pick-up bed.
This dog was about as close to a wild animal as you could get. Anyone who passed by the truck, received a terrifying experience. The dog would lunge and bark like crazy at anyone who came within 20' or so of the truck.
I stood by and waited for animal control to show up. In the meantime, the owner of the dog arrived. He couldn't understand the reason for me being called in regards to his dog. I tried at least three times, in three different ways, to get thru to him. He acted as if I was calling his wife and/or children names.
At one point, the owner (wannabe cowboy) was on the verge of being arrested for disorderly conduct. Anyway, he was advised to leave immediately before AC showed up, as they would most likely have something to say about his dog, as would the owners of the property who called to complain in the first place.
This isn't the first time by any means, that I've run into dog owners that were as dumb or unruly as their dogs. I've tried to figure it out, but have pretty much given up on them (dogs / owners).
I guess a mean / uncontrolled dog rubs me the same way that an obnoxious and mean drunk does. Neither one sits well with me!![:(!]
The "ONLY" bad thing about owning "A GUN" is...not owning two or more!0 -
...I wouldn't be worried about eating...I'd be worried when the doc pulled that 4' long red rubber "thingie" out after he has you lay on your stomach...[:0]...[B)]

Just make sure that when the Doc checks your prostate, he does not have both of his hands on your shoulders !! [:D] 0 -
