THANKSGIVING LEFT OVERS

what do you do with all your leftovers? change the style? eat them till they are all gone? or give them away? i am lucky i went to my sisters for dinner no problem here. well till CHRISTMAS anyway

    I am fixing to take care a a goodly portion of our leftovers right now. Anything that survives this "secondary feast" is dog scraps.[;)]

    Just took care of 1/3 of em. Feel like [xx(] now. Ready to take a nap.

    We usually send some home with her grandparents who will eat every last morsel. I'll eat em the next day and then that's it, they go in the trash.

    Plenty of dressing left and cranberries. Turkey is somewhat destroyed.

    just ate some more sweet potato pie and berry pie for breakfast, only a couple piese left

    for lunch, Im planning on eating turkey sandwiches

    we also used the turkey carcass to make a big pot of turkey soup

    it will be eaten up by Sunday

    Daughter Andrea and Son-in-Law, Garry the Brit, took about half home. The rest will be eaten - the carcass become really good turkey noodle soup, with half the soup frozen.

    Will be eating on Miss Turkey for at least a week.

    Sandwiches, Crispy french bread, turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy and cranberry sauce (or in my case pomegranate sauce) all layered on the afore mentioned bread, yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!

    Son usually comes up and takes them home, but was too sick to make it this year. [:(]

    second day, as is, any day past that i will mix chopped turkey with pasta, rice or if i'm lazy ramen

    ham gets saved for breakfast with eggs, and what else i can scrounge

    For Thanksgiving with our son, his wife and a friend, we had a medley of duck, turkey, and goose (all wild), and did a good job of polishing them off. Even so, my wife and I have enough rice, vegetables, and drippings left over to make a nice soup. Except for the absence of company, we'll enjoy that as much as the main meal.

    Whatever was left was gone by lunchtime.

    We had such a crowd over for Thanksgiving that there was nothing left over and I was counting on taking a thick turkey sandwich into the office today [V]. Not only was there nothing left over, most of the dinner "guests" will be remaining in my house until Sunday so my wife is still cooking and they are still eating!

    Love those leftovers. We're at Surf City, NC -"the beach". Families, which left last night, took turkey care packages with them if they wished. This AM, wife and I chose turkey sandwiches for breakfast. We already agreed to buy one for Christmas while they are still on sale.

    I made some soup with some of my left over turkey. I used swansons chicken broth frozen spinach...fresh carrots and onion and some very small meatballs the size of a dime and added some orzo macaroni. It's called italian wedding soup...good stuff.

    two critters i have never eaten duck and goose. i have heard that they are greasy and are dark meat

    TRADITION in our house is to make turkey Rice soup with the carcass and the gravy that was left out. Made over three quarts of soup, froze two, ate the soup left over after filling the three quart containers.
