Gun Dealers.. I have a question..

Have any of you ever dealt with or do business with Ellett Brothers out of Columbia, SC?

I have never dealt with the company and would like to hear from someone who has before I start.

    Always been a good supplier. Been in business a long time. What could happen that would cause you a problem?? Why would you ask this question??

    My dad does. No complaints that I know of.

    Prices usually higher that most .. Never any problems though. The deals they have are in the monthly flyers.

    We are set up with them...don't do much business with them right now though.

    If you're a small dealer they won't sell to you, at least my experience some years ago. They only liked large accounts and big stocking dealers.

    Used to do business with them all the time. Had a great relationship with one of their CSR. She was great and called to apologize when they switched policy. They decided that the small dealer, low stock customer was not a good investment, i.e. lawsuits that they encountered. For the mom and pop kitchen table dealer they are no longer an option. Until they switched to a storefront only relationship I loved doing business with them.

    Great company. I deal with them daily. My inside rep is Rose Meadows, ext 3592. The CEO is Hewitt Grant. Super guy. The VP is Chuck Walker. He used to be one of our traveling reps until he landed that position with Ellett. Actually, they are in Chapin, SC which is real close to Columbia.

    Well , at one time , back when I owned a BIG shop , we bought some stuff from them , but stopped buying because of prices , I remember my sells lady calling (as they did all the time?) and asking why we had stopped buying ? My response was : Your prices are to dang high , for example , We sell RAVENS (yes I know , but we did)and your "wholesale price" is with-in $5.00 of what we sell them for !!!
    we where able to buy most everything at much better prices ? and , When I reopened at this location , I 'applied' to be able to buy from them again , just because they have one heck of a great retail catalog ? we received a letter from them stating that we 'did not meet the requirementss to buy from them' WTH ???? so I then called and really unloaded on them about this ???
