Post VA massacre, time for 24-7 carry?
Right now, I rarely carry concealed, but after yesterdays mass murder, I've been thinking that maybe I need to be carrying all the time (or at least all the time I am in public).
Anyone actually do this?
If so, what do you use and why?

I carry 24-7.Only because I trust no one, but my family.

I carry most of the time, primarily at work. I am a lawyer and my clients sometimes are not the most upstanding, or stable people in the world, and often have unrealistic expectations. After seeing my colleauges get shot every other week on TV, I started carrying to the office all the time, and carry most everywhere else as well, excluding the courthouse where it is banned. I carry a Taurus .357 snubnose. Five shots only, but according to the guy who trained me in the Navy, that should be four more shots than I need if I do my part right. I carry in an ankle holster, which is not ideal, but is the only way that I have found that I can carry without "printing". 0 -
I carry 100% of the time that I am not in my house... except for the 8 hours at work because my boss is a communist who won't let us carry. I even carry to church. One of my carry rigs is the same as BigGun74's: a Taurus .357 snubby in an ankle holster. My other options are a Smith & Wesson M&P .40 Compact in a Bianchi belt holster; SIG P-220 Carry model in Blackhawk CQC holster; SIG P-226 .40 in Blackhawk Serpa holster. The reason why I carry is because I trust very few people; I NEVER trust anyone that I don't know. Also, with the school shootings over the past however many years and shootings at malls etc. On top of that, approximately a month ago, a man killed his ex girlfriend and other new boyfriend, and the town where that occured is about 15 miles away from me and that's where I go to shop. Basically, I carry because the society is going down the drain 0 -
Hello,
Yes , I also 'carry' 100% of the time , I can and Do (as a LEO) as well as I thought that was the intended purpose of a "CCW" permit ???
As far as Im concerned , if you live in a 'carry friendly' state (and why NOT)?, then you should have a "CCW" and be active in the process of 'carrying' ??? Just do it ...
Thanks !!!
