Border patrol protecting the US border 11/12/07

Hey, all,

The "No Border Camp" on the Calexico - Mexicali border ended with a thorough ass-whooping.

On the last day everything went well, up until the last moment, when participants marched down to the border wall, attempted to shut down traffic on the road, by laying down in the middle of the street, in traffic, and started cutting holes in the boder fence.

Within seconds approximately 100 Border Patrol agents showed up, and surrounded the crowd. An activist drummer tried to motivate his comrades and annoy BP agents with his war drum. He was repeatedly asked to cut it out. He chose to ignore the wise words.
BP agents consequently wiped up the street with the guy, and he was off to the pokey in handcuffs. This is part of the romantic video, below.

Next, the crowd was driven away from the fence.
Batons, pepper pellet guns were applied liberally, even some rubber bullets were fired, and a good time was had by all. Some BP agents seem to have enjoyed the fiesta, you can see them smiling in a video of the event, here:

Notice, that Indymedia activists are referring to the pepper spray pellets as "chemical weapons".

I can already see ACLU, MALDEF and National Lawyers Guild ambulance chasers working late at night, preparing to sue the Border Patrol, local police, etc.

    Nice video!
    The sad part to me, is the numbers of "white liberal socialist" scum involved. Seemed to be equal with the illegals, or possibly more.
    What the heck,........I must remember it is Commiefornia, or at least that part of it is.
    No one could "give" me a place there to live![xx(]
    And I don't give a hoot how nice the climate is either,.......it is still the land of fruits, and nuts!

    I still say they should put National Guard soldiers on the border with live ammunition and orders to shoot anything crossing it, be it man, woman, child, animal, vegetable, mineral, living, dead, non-living, undead, and/or any combination of the above. Turn the border into a 1/2 mile wide no-man's-land.

    And why not let the Field Artillery guys have some fun too? Set up and zero 155mm's, and all the mortars to provide fire support. I'd love to see that.

    Zulu, I like the idea of making that swath of land that we call the southern boarder a live weapons training area. Put signs up along the fence to warn and then have at it.
    Now, I am not saying that they should target the illegals, just use that space and turn all of the areas that we currently use in the middle of the country into parks or something.

    This is very encouraging to me.

    Anybody ever notice that in active crowd scenes from the third world, there is always someone bouncing straight up and down??

    I wonder why they do that - it looks silly.

    Maybe the criminal mexicans will start to learn.

    [8D][8D] The pepper ball gun was really dishing it out. LOVE it! Anyone know how effective it is. Looked good on the vid.

    It shouldn't be a "pipe dream",......but in our PC society it is for now.
    When it gets bad enough that regular "Joe Schmoe" American, can't feed his own family, the "pipe dream" may become a reality.

    Dunno, never been shot with one, but being a paintball player, I can say that if the balls are loaded with mace or some such -- I can imagine that it's very effective. Looks like a very good crowd control tool.
