Lets spend my Bonus! :)
OK I got a nice break, I got a nice bonus at work and after the Uncle took his cut with Bonus tax rate, and 401K deductions I still have 1900.00.
I currently own 3 shotguns two pump, a Winchester 1300 and a JC Higgins (Sears) and one semi auto Remington 1187. All .12 ga.
M1A Springfield, CETME .308, Personally built Fn_fal from Kit and Imbel receiver, French MAS 7.5, Swiss straight pull 7.5, Swede M96 6.5x 55, Savage remington 7mm Mag, 6 SKS's of various configurations, Bushmaster 20" Target, Bushmaster Carbon 15 97 "pistol" Taurus PT92 9mm, Taurus 651 .357 ultralite, Beretta Storm Cx4 in .45, Charles Daly 1911 .45, Marlin 30-30 lever, Remington Viper .22, Ruger 10-22, and FN-49 in .308, two Ruger black hawks in .357 and a Ruger MK III Hunter .22 , a Rossi .357 revolver. I missed a couple Cz 50's 70 and French MAB .32, a couple of Star B's and a Ballester Molina .45 also some other older C&R stuff. Anyway I'm thinking another "top" for my AR like the 6.8 SPC, but is it pricey ammo? Maybe just a flat top. Or maybe something different like the Keltec SU 16 or a large caliber revolver like a .44 magnum. I really dont want to expand into a lot of different ammo types, I'm open to suggestion. I was also thinking of spending some of the loot on a .223 silencer paying the tax and waiting four months but that is just a thought also.

If you hunt, I'd vote for a new AR upper in a capable deer hunting caliber, like a .243. The 6.8 might fit the bill for that too, though. I don't know much about the variety of ammo available for it. 0 -
sounds like you have enough guns. Put it in the bank. 0 -
A Tommy or a Desert Eagle. 0 -
BUY THE WIFE / GIRLFRIEND SOMETHING WITH THE BONUS AND THEN BUY AN ADDITION TO THE COLLECTION, IT WILL GO OVER MUCH BETTER THAN IF YOU DROP, LET'S SAY 1000.00 INTO A NEW TOY AND SHE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT IT. 0 -
Tromix 444Marlin Saiga, bet you aint got one of them!
Suppressor Form4 transfer times are down to around 6 weeks now, for newbies.
Some people are gettting their form4's back in 2 weeks.0 -

SACRILEGE!!!
Better go finds some meds to clear your mind of such thoughts!0 -
What no AK47 type? You need at least one.
Some ammo for all those guns might be helpful too.0 -
roth ira, and an sks 0 -
3 or 4 AK types, plenty of extra mags for them, HK91/G3, FAL, etc. Sell most in a couple years after the ban, keep 1 ak type for yourself the rest are/will be profit. 0 -
I smell a giveaway! I'm in! [:D] 0 -
How 'bout a nice,high-end .22 bolt gun? As far as new ones,Kimber and Cooper are very nice and in your price range. For a little less, you could go with a vintage/used Remington 541,Browning 52 repro,or some others, and have some boot left for a decent scope,a few bricks of ammo and a nice gift for the Mrs.[;)]JMHO
BTW,I have some info on the Boggy Head range cleanup I can e-mail you,if interested.0 -
I think you should invest in a nice, hand carved, ebony and ivory chess set, with an inlaid chessboard of vapor honed and transparent crystal.
That oughtta suck up that money, and maybe a little more.
Would be a helluvan heirloom.

You know, just to help a fellow GB'er out,...........AND you get a complete turd of a gun to boot.[;)][:D]0 -
What he needs is a nice muzzle stuffer, I would recommend a nice flintlock not only will you have a ton of fun shooting it, it will also improve your accuracy with your other rifles because it will teach you not to flinch.
Like say this one

ya know I am just trying to help out :P after buying that and your powder balls etc you should still have a nice 1500 left to blow on whatever else suits your fancy, everyone needs a muzzle stuffer though
You may want to spent some of that left over 1500 on say a .458 socom or .50 Beowulf upper for yer ar get ya some firepower on that there sissy gun. Or at the very least a 6.8 so ya can hunt with it

Thanks for all the suggestions, I left off that my wife is while not an avid gunner at least supportive of my hobby and has her own "allowance". Anyway I bought the AR top I couldn't resist,http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=67328896 but I avoided the 6.8 due to cost of ammo. This way I saved some money I suppose I should add to the Roth also while the market is donw a little.
Anyway BigT7MM yes email me and I will make the effort to be there and try and help out. I like Twin Ponds, but feel as a shooter I should contribute some of my time to help save our range.0 -
Nice buy. E-mailsent re: Boggy Head. 0 -

Ruger Single six with both cylinders.
CHEAP and lots of fun to shoot.
Then lots of ammo.
Or invest it in Hi cap magazines and make a 500% return after the impending ban. [;)]0 -
Here's a good investment:

An original Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 magnum. Also known as an "old model" or "3 screw model," this gun comes with the original box.
This gun has not had the transfer bar safety conversion.0 -

looks like you've got almost every base covered. You got most of the firearms I own and most of the ones I'd LIKE to own. Good for you.[:D]
It's not pricey, but may I humbly suggest a Mosin Nagant of some variety and a few thousand rounds of ammo? Should leave you $1400-$1500 dollars left over to spend on something else.0
