Can a NY democrat Jewish old lady save the USA?
I swear the below is the gospel truth.
I was in the library and spoke with an elderly librarian. She is old, Jewish and from New York.
I asked her if she was a Hillary supporter.
She said; no way. She intends to vote for Fred Thompson in November.
I consider that the most significant statement to date on the next presidential election!

Those fervently attacking Ron Paul , calling him `nutty'. reveal their abysmal lack of interest in and knowledge of the document that is supposed to be the bedrock of America.
You may disagree with his positions..but he stands on the Constitution for those positions.

I know she is a democrat by assuming when she told me she was not lying.
There are those that think I would make a good president.
I don't think so but the few that do would waste their vote on me and increase Hillary's chance in so doing as would a vote for RP.
Anyone that votes for Ron Paul is helping Hillary Clinton to become the next president. Ron Paul promises to be the Ross Perot of 2008.
I am interested first and foremost with the candidate that will insure my second amendment rights and actually can beat Hillary.
Only someone not in touch with reality believes Ron Paul has any chance to be nominated as the Republican candidate.
Guiliani is an anti-gunner, Romney is in a cult and the Christian right will not vote for either of them, election over! John McCain does not know where he is and irregardless of personal opinion that leaves Fred Thompson with the ability to win in 08.
Ron Paul has some good ideas but don't we all?
Believing main stream America will vote Paul is an admission of delusions beyond a fairytale. Sorry, just cluing in on a bit of reality.

Highball, without getting into Ron Paul's psychological profile, the problem that I see with him is the fact that, if elected, he would be at odds with Congress at every turn and we would end up with four years of nothing substantial happening. Although, it may spark a run on Consitutional congressmen as well. Wierder things have happened. 0 -
Hillary (if elected) would make George Bush look like a beginner. She's already proposed some 800 billion bucks' worth of new spending, totally on entitlement programs.

This isn't all that unusual. When Rudy ran for mayor of NYC, every poll conducted had Dinkin Donuts winning by at least a few points. On poll day, Rudy won handily. Assuming the poll data was correct (always a dangerous assumption) that can mean only one thing: many, many voters who SAID they were voting for Dinkins, actually pulled the lever for Rudy, but were too embarassed to admit it to the pollsters or anyone else.
At least this lady was being honest with herself and others.0
