My Dad told me as a kid that one of the sales pitches used by Smith & Wesson in the '30s was that their new .357 Magnum could disable a vehicle by shooting a hole through the engine block.
Recalling this story, after getting s Super Blackhawk (.44 Mag) while living in Nevada, we came upon an abandoned, rusted-out vehicle left in the desert.
I shot a hole (successfully) in the engine block!!
True story. No bull.0 -

I've been trying to shoot a hole in one since 1978. I don't think it can be done. No matter how hard I try.........oh, you meant golf. I'm sorry. My mistake, different thread. 0 -
I aced a 224 yard par three and came up an inch short on a 340 yard par 4. My dad was with me on the par three ace. We only golfed together twice so that was cool. 0 -
shot a hole in what[?][:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)][:D] 0 -
I shot a hole through my wifes robes, put a hole in the bathroom door,a hole into the bedroom side of the wall, exiting through the bathroon wall into the shower(which missed the plumbing by 1 inch), then it went through that wall and exited through the side of the house where it went through my gutter. Dang thing left perfect holes too.... So i actually had (if you count all the robes, and the entering and exiting holes in wall) 10 holes with 1 shot, in 1 house. Funny what a 2 3/4 rifled 12 ga. slug can do.[:D] 0 -
Oh i forgot about the hole in my britches afterward, that would be 11.[:D][:)][:D][:)][:D] 0
