Looky what I found last night
Told the wife a few weeks ago that sooner or later we needed to buy a gun safe. Last night I just happened to get on Craigslist to browse for a few minutes and started reading an ad where this guy was selling everything in his house. Wife had left him and he was selling everything to raise enough cash to move to Florida. Noticed "gun safe" listed----called him---lo and behold, he was only 3 miles from my house.

Those "Remington" safes have a weird combination. It's something like four revolutions left, three revolutions right, then two revolutions right, finally one revolution left. We had to open the safe at work one night. It was the first time we opened it. We had no confidence it would work turning the dial some many times. We both thought it would be like a basic master lock. 0 -

I got the same one last year on clearance(seasonal) the second week of February every year. I missed one this year by 15 minutes. I got mine for 235.00. It is a 400.00 dollar safe. Very happy with mine. 0 -
I think they are made fairly well, compared to others 2-3 times as much. 0
