I wouldn't strap a light to it ... makes YOU the target ...
hold way out to the side with your left hand.[8D]

    But, it looks sooo cooool...really!![8D]

I have a similar gun (w/o light). Been wanting to get one of the 6 shot saddle shell holders for it, and will. A heat shield would look good on it too, but the seem hard to find, and not sure they'd work with the vent rib anyway. Oh, and a sling!!

My wrist hurts already just looking at it.

zipperzap, if you can hold a flashlight in one hand and a pistol-grip pump in the other, The Terminator's got nuthin' on you!

'Sides the pain to the shooter, my only thing would be the weak-azz light, but then again at my age I need a big double-handful of them lumen thingies to see anything at all.

... the day I can't hold a lightweight scattergun in one hand
and my tomahawk in the other is the day you can wheel me
off to the old folks home!

I ALSO HAVE A LASER SIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE,OK BEFORE YOU ALL GIVE ME THE HEAT ON HAVING A LASER ON A 12 GAUGE.I JUST GOT TO SAY WITH 00 BUCK LOADS IT SHOULD THROW AT LEAST ONE BALL IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE LASER POINT..[:D][:D][:D]

... I think the point is ... if the bad guy is a half decent shot, he'll
drop you like a bad habit ... long before you can 'find' him in
    your light.

... maybe a head mounted miner's lamp would be better - with a
    halogen light, of course.[:o)][:o)][:o)]

I have that same kind of setup on my Win. 1300.
I like the idea of being able to light up whatever I'm pointing at, and the 12ga. will destroy anything in that field of light.

Lights too small. Get one big enough to blind them like a deer in the headlights. Makes for an easier target.

Warning: if you step out on new years eve., meaning to empty the mag

MAKE SURE that someone has NOT exchanged your light loads for #4 3" mags!!

Don't ask me how i know this.[;)]

Why do people hate lights? If you have to pull the trigger, wouldn't it be nice to know who you're shooting in the dark?? Who's to say somebody won't use their night vision until they spot movement, aim, then turn light on and blind intruder? I've got a light/laser on the Glock and I'm very comfortable with it.

    Don't hate lights.

    Carnivals have lights.

    Roller coasters have lights.

    Merry go rounds have lights.

Close in - room to room - hallways - somebody lying
on the floor next to a corner ... waiting for that light
to come close to that corner ... double/tripple
    tap ... end game.

    ... sorry.

Pretty ineffective technique with a pistol gripped scattergun. Light where it is is fine.

Now with a pistol, there you go.[;)]

Should oughta read ... fer sure ... http://www.handgunsmag.com/tactics_training/lights_072804/

Unless you are part of a tactical squad ... it's an 'iffy' proposition at best ... without a
lot of constant practice, it's a crap shoot ... or somebody spotting you first and
shooting the crap out of you.

I prefer the element of surprise ... but that's just a personal preference.
