My hunting partner carries a .357 Dan Wesson that is a very nice revolver indeed! Wish I was in the market for this one. 0 -
I have 2 Dan Wesson .357s and I dearly love them. They are the most accurate out-of-the-box revolver I have shot. I have a 4" and a 6" and an extra 2" barrel. I hate to steal a post, but I have a funny(?) story about Dan Wesson. I have a friend who had a friend with a small gun store. He had told me previously that his friend, for some reason, hated Dan Wesson guns, and would almost give them away to move them out. I was visiting with my friend one day and he says "I almost called you the other day. Fred(friend with gun store) took a Dan Wesson in trade and I thought you might be interested. But it was a .44mag and I knew you were set up to load .357, so I didn't call." I asked for particulars, and my friend said that it was a Dan Wesson .44mag pistol pack. When I asked how much Fred wanted, my friend said, "Oh, probably $100 and your gun." I said, "You son of ......., you'd better call me if a deal comes up like that again." My friend then again mentioned that I was set up to load .357, and I replied that all it took was a $30 set of dies and a case holder. Jeesh, I was pi..ed. It's kind of funny now, but it wasn't amusing at the time. 0 -
I've shot a couple of 'em in 357 and they do shoot nice.

I had a package simular to that but only had 3 barrels and no speed loaders. Five years ago it brought $575. You started this one off at a good price. It should sell well. Good luck and thanks for sharig it with us. 0 -
Yep. I have the 357 pistol pac and love all four barrels. You're starting price is reasonable. Wish I had room for a 44, but the lovely and talented Mrs jbc would probably use it to pistol whip me. 0 -

I have only shot 36 rounds through it and that was sunday morn. I also shot my seper blackhawk with 10 1/2 inch barrel thats ported.. All i can say is the wesson smoked the blackhawk it in accuracy. And it was the same box of shells. Remington umc 185 soft point jacketed. I really like the gun and have had it for 1 week. I will be kickn myself in the a@@ for gettn rid of it. So far it is the smoothest and most accurate hand gun i've ever owned or shot. The only thing i dont like about it is the bulk of the whole gun. I bought it for myself, but the opportunity to turn a couple of bucks is there. So i must take it. Oh by the way it was shooting 1/2 - 1 inch groups at 35 feet. And i havent shot a handgun in about a year. 0
