Major Ice Storm hitting the Midwest This weekend

"This is a one-in-maybe-15-to 25-year event," CNN severe weather expert Chad Myers said Friday of the forecast freezing rain, sleet and snow.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, up to St. Louis, Missouri, could see "devastating consequences," Myers warned Friday. "You won't be able to get in or out of St. Louis tomorrow."
Temperatures in the week ahead will have highs in the 20s and lows in the teens and possibly single digits, the weather service added, according to AP.
Be sure to keep warm and get prepared for it.

Where the hell has this guy been ??? We get an ice storm almost every year here in Mo. Granted some are worst than others, but its an ever year thing around here.

I wish we'd get some kind of winter weather. Last time a snow storm came across Ill-In lines it split up around our county then dumped everything north and south of us. All we got was some spitting sleet and snow. No accumulation. Now it's in the 40's and just raining. NASTY. We've had about 5-6 days like this, if it were below freezing we'd be 10' under right now. Oh well, at least my gas bills aren't outrageous like last year. 0 -

Yeah... this is going to be a nasty one. From memory, this is the first Ice Storm Warning that we have received in St. Louis in about 15-20 years. All the others have just been a winter storm advisory.
Supposedly we are getting 2 inches of ice out of the deal.
