    A guy on TV pulling several hundred grand a year and not getting dirty verses a bunch of guys banging keys and gripping that Mossberg shotguns are overpriced....

    Springer's an interesting fellow, kind of like Ben Stein. One of those celebrities who you hear their life story and you're like "Him? Really?"

    Born in a London subway tunnel (turned bomb-shelter) in WWII to Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany, emigrated, law degree, one of RFK's primary campaign aides, elected Cincinatti city council, elected Mayor of Cincinatti, got busted at an oriental massage parlor in Fort Worth and got out of politics. Became a news anchor, voted most popular TV personality in the state of Ohio, earned 10 local Emmys, then quit and started the show.

    Dr. Squirrel? Don't like the guy, but the wife kinda does.

    I've heard of him, but I can honestly say that I've never watched his show. There are far better programs on my television. "Barney", "Dora the Explorer", "The Wiggles"....and, when my daughter goes to bed, The History Channel.

    Groan. Wife #1 runs in the house after work to watch him. I need to start making sure I'm not aroubd at that time. "Dr. Phil said this." "Dr.Phil said that." And my wife is a PHD.!!!!
    If the man was to "disappear", it wouldn't hurt my feelings.
    I like the Man Show a whole lot better.[:D]

    Yeah, I always wondered about that one. If people are crazy enough to listen to him about dieting, then they will think of him as an expert on anything.

    We have the exact same programing schedule here.[:D]

    Though I have grown to hate Dora and its agenda.[:(!]
