I had a Buckmark Target in 5.5", walnut grips, heavy bbl, target sights. A real joy to shoot, ate anything, loved the match ammo.

It's fun to whip out a pistol on the 100yd rifle range and hit paper.

Either the Buckmark or Ruger will treat you just fine. Both are kind of a pain to pull apart.

I'd take another Buckmark over the Ruger. For looks more than anything though.

It's hard to go wrong on a .22 pistol, except maybe for one that I own, the S&W 22A, it uses a teflon bushing, and they can periodically wear out, so you want to keep a few extras on hand for the rare occassion when they need replaced.

    To sum it up: Browning.

I have the Browning Buckmark Bullseye target, very nice, very please with it. I for get the brand and don't remember much about it but my friend was shopping for a .22 pistol and we came across one that was all silver and blue and it had the weighted competition grip on it, very sharp, if I can find a pic of it I will post it. I always wondered about that pistol though.

Ruger Single Six, not sure why we got rid of ours, they are a blast to shoot.

You couldn't go wrong with an old High Standard either. They have models from plinkers to pros.
