I don't shoot the blanks into the air. I point it in a safe direction towards the back of my property and treat it like I am shooting live rounds.

I do have some tracers but I will not be shooting live ammo tonight. My nieghbor said he might get some fireworks so there should be a light show. He normally buys the big artillery shell fireworks.[:D]0 -

Did that once last year with a .458 Winchester magnum. Just a big white cloud and never did find the bottle.

Used to pack my 50cal muzzle loader with extra powder and wad only.
It would belch out flame and make a horrendous noise. It ruined the gun though. I Forgot to clean it for about 6 weeks. It ate up the inside bad. [xx(]0
