2 days, 5 hrs and 30 minutes away.......

from leaving Memphis heading to Saskatoon, Canada for a whitetail hunt. My 18 year old son and I are going to have a COLD but great time. May not get anything, but still have 9 days of quality togetherness. Return back in Memphis around 8:30 pm Nov 24. Will be hunting on Saskatchewan/Manitoba border around Hudson Bay for 5 of those days. Guides take us out to the stands before daybreak and come get us after dark (I hope he doesn't forget where we are!!!). I don't know how far apart Brian and I will be. Tent camping Sunday thru Friday nights. I think Brian will take a Remington 700 7mm-08 with Winchester Supreme 140 ballistic tips and I will use a Remington 700 7 mag with 160's. Both topped with Swift 4x12x44 scopes.

Keep us in your prayers that we have a safe trip and hunt. Only concern that I have is if Brian has a "nature call" and has to get down and accidentally gets between momma bear and her cubs. Wouldn't be good. Maybe I will have some great pictures to post when I get back.
